Security for XML Web Services
The seminar introduces the Web Services stack, including SOAP, WSDL, and XML. It examines how security principles are honoured in a Web Services environment and how the key security components can be applied to secure XML Web Services communications.

The seminar examines XML and Web Services security specifications in terms of their place in the Web Services stack covering XML Signature and XML Encryption, and WS-*. SAML is presented and related to single sign-on (SSO) technologies. Case studies are included which link these technologies together in complete solutions.
